The House of Strike throughout time has been renown for it's mercantile dealings, such as but not limited to food, alchemy and general commerce. One of the staunch proponents of technology and supporters of integration, Strike has been cemented in the market as an investor and a provider. An opportunist, most of all. People must eat. House Strike provides special aeroponics for home-grown foods on large scale plots for a self-sufficient crop as well as traditional agriculture and earth treatments. Contractors for chefs, farmworkers and landlords are often provided by a standard-bearer and one can easily arrange a deal beneficial to both the House and the body in question. : Independents, vassals and profit seekers are welcome. Particularly, herbs and spices otherwise too hard to reach or too expensive to be bought are within Strike's main-stay products; they're grown in Strike land under special conditions and care. These can be found in any corner of the Stormwind market. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alchemy -/- A mysterious school which bends laws and physics to its will, oft times. Alchemy is one of House Strike's main staples. It produces potions, elixirs, droughts and medicine en masse for the House and the Kingdom it self, supplying the Army on long-standing basis and investing to the wider market in subsidiaries. Secrets are held to the House of their renown formulas and exceptional distillation qualities. People from all walks of life are attracted to the House and often seek custom orders or generic requests and in some cases, whole sale demands. All commodities are accommodated, there is no criteria for buyers or sellers. Like wise, the work field for House Strike's alchemists and apothecaries range from maintaining high grade aeroponics, to cultivating herbs and herb quality, soil treatment, water and food treatment, potion and flask creation, and many more things within the vast realm of alchemy. Their fair and often cheap prices make purchasing from them desirable and their reputation attractive to investors and people seeking to expand their own business or introduce their formula to the market. Or the world. People on rare occasions can also learn from the prestigious school of Alchemists within Dyrwood to try and glean a similar effect for a steep but rewarding tuition. Dawid Strike himself, a grand alchemist, takes exclusive orders for rare and genuinely unique requests. : Workers, entrepreneurs & buyers are welcomed here most. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Science -/- The crux of society. Without it, man would still be toiling with rocks and stone axes within the planes of Arathor, no better than a vrykul. Often disreputed and in some cases outright rejected by certain communities within the Kingdom, who spurn do so to preserve certain identities, traditions, beliefs and superstitions, Strike accepts it and applies it to the facets of every-day life. Among the first few slew of houses to implement dwarven technologies and practices, they use engineers, mechanists and tinkers from all walks of life to build and craft, and innovate to their hearts content. They do not spurn the growth of ideas that might challenge religious beliefs or every day preconceptions and instead encourage people pursue the theatrics of gnomes and the ancients to try and replicate simpler times where automation may remove the excess hardships of life, and improve the standard of living as well as the quality of Stormwind's army or private bodies, for the protection of the realm or the Grand Alliance it self. Indeed, a diverse cast of people from even the most far-flung areas of Azeroth come here for opportunity and profit. Among them most, are entrepreneurs without the funding or the platform to get their invention out there and so Strike offers a way to do so, with arrangements by the Lord Strike himself. Main-stay products here are mechanical parts, engineering and construction related feats, and implementation of smaller scale doodads and gizmos from cosmetic, domestic and practical usage to military and combat applications. : Workers, contractors, tinkers & plethora of other things are welcome here.

    The Pride

    On the eve of victory, the Alliance has decided to reward those that participated in the battle against the Scourge that gripped Port de Montarville, both for their bravery and willingness to participate against overwhelming odds, and for the fact they were an arm of the Alliance when it's body is still out there, indisposed with the countless tides of demons swarming out across Azeroth. Amongst these people, a few have been recognized for especial service and or bravery & courage on the battlefield. Lionheads have been given out to their respective families, handlers and or independent bodies.     Seeking Interest

    House Strike has sent out a few posters to popular kingdoms boards looking for a weapons trainer for hire. Somebody that can teach the use of the shortsword, rapier, daggers and or the longsword for anybody interested (any of the one listed weapons) in training one of his daughters. The pay is said to be high. The Eventide has also begun recruiting people once more for anybody interested in such a rare opportunity! Sir Gregory, veteran of the wars and hospitaler of the Order will be vetting people. Meanwhilst troubles brew in Duskwood. Dawid's issued a warning to any passing noblemen to be safe on the roads. He has also spoken with the Night's Watch to tighten the chokes around the Three Corners and the roads closeby.

    Griffith has been retrieved via the efforts of some freelancers, members of House Strike, and an Si:7 Operative that preferred to keep his identity unnamed. The SI:7 has handsomely rewarded these rare few for their efforts. The Red Dawn is being investigated more closely now.

    Duskwood is a tumultuous zone, known for its blighted skies and cursed woods. There's never a shortage of work for intrepid adventurers to carry out. Duke Dawid Strike has sent out a call to arms for anybody interested in expanding the Hamlet's faculties and slaying monsters or whatever troubles come to be. The gates of Dyrwood have opened and a mission board's been posted in Darkshire for those interested. Mission Board: Cruel Nights Khadgar's Whiskers Cheaters' Paradise Dead man Walking Ogres Trouble 1/2 (!) T/L Ogres from Deadwind have dredged up an old tunnelway used in the First War for noblemen and commonpeople to escape Brightwood's destruction. They're moving in force, stirred by something and fiercely migratory. An evil sorcerer at the helm. Lothar the Second There's been sightings of a crazed man calling himself the second coming of Lothar, the Alliance War Hero! Bring him to justice to the Night Watch. Farm Troubles A local farmer's prized turnip has been stolen strategically before the hamlet's annual turnip competition. He has reason to believe it was another farmer to sabotage him. Investigate and help him out. Weavers' Love (!) A local tailor needs a small group of people to fetch her some special spider silk from a rare breed within Duskwood. The only problem is they're venomous and dangerous creatures! She's promised to reward the people handsomely for any trouble. Duke's Bid Lord Strike is heard to have been hiring secondhand mercenaries to do some acquisition work for him - he's looking for monster hunters, in particular, and beastslayers and wildermen. Two Tails' Somehow, someway a thresher's gotten it self lodged inside of the river cutting between Elwyn and Duskwood. Now it's attacking ferrymen and eating unsuspecting fishers. Deputy Mayor is hiring anybody able to fix the problem by relocating it without upsetting the local D.E.H.T.A. footnote: this will be a series of event chains with fun rewards for everybody. all the geralts of paragon are invited and mercenary companies or people that otherwise find this aligning within their character interest. dm me on discord if you're interested so i can plan the events accordingly. the first few will be limited slots, small groupings. then the last shebang will be open to a larger party.   12. For about a year, the disappearance of James Brenden Griffith II has mystified his family and his close associates. The mans disappearance has left his House damaged. Now word has resurfaced of the forgotten lord, helped by SI:7 intel. The organization is employing anybody within their ranks and outside of them (within certain parameters) to retrieve Griffith who is believed to have been held in a hideout deep in the Elwynn mountains. His captors are highly trained political assassins and field soldiers. Anybody bold and true to the Alliance is invited in retrieving Griffith. Wednesday, June 5th 12 ST. 10 slots.
  13. Order of the Eventide The Order of the Eventide is not quite like many of the other Knighthood Orders. They always fight unmounted unless it serves a strategical advantage, using crossbows before engaging with heavy weapons. Their tenacity and might in combat surpasses even some of the most renown faction orders. Founded in the early ages of man and sanctified by Landan Wrynn himself, they were initially a bulwark against the trolls far south in the Stranglethorn and personal soldiers of the second Strike, protecting his profit from highwaymen and deadly politicians in the youth of the House of Nobility. Since then they have gained fame and popularity in numerous skirmishes and major conflicts such as, but not limited to the Gnoll Wars, the Gurubashi Invasion and the First & Second War. Each time, their numbers have ebbed and flowed but since the security & reconstruction of Stormwind, their numbers have increased and the order has survived, serving underneath House Strike loyally. They serve as a dual choke against the ogres and specters that might pour into Duskwood from Deadwind and patrol the mountain ranges detailing the Cape of Stranglethorn and Brightwood formerly. These men and women are proud servants of the realm and proclaimed slayers of evil, never discriminating against a threat so long as it is poised against the Kingdom or the House it self. In contemporary times, they're avid beast and monster hunters, tackling the endless creatures harrying Duskwood while securing Strike's interests. Ranks - Seneschal 0/1: The de facto leader of the Order who strategizes and organizes logistics and battle plans with the Lord of the House. He is the majordomo for leadership but otherwise delegates a strict ladder of leadership to the 'senior knights' or the hospitallers and rarely has the need to exercise his rank or power unless the Order is committed to a campaign. Quartermaster 0/1: Trite but oft restated information. The Quartermaster of the Order handles supplies and delegates stewards of the House to help him organize the armory, weaponry and other materials and logistics. He is respected, well trained and knighted like the others of the Order but refrains from combat most of the time unless absolutely necessary, so that he can handle the detail that goes into fieldwork and inventory. He prescribes schematics and stock numbers to smiths and fletchers and weaponmakers. When necessary, he'll ride out to organize the matters of out-sourcing work or labor that cannot be found inside the Order or the House it self. Hospitaler 1/12 : An official rank of seniority within the Order. This denotes a degree of power vested in the knight both for his veterancy and his great contributions or proven wisdom and ability to inspire trust within the ranks and organize the people and if need be, mediate any problems within the Order from time to time. A wizened head and trustworthy sergeant to the Knights. Knight 5/∞ : The standard rank within any order, but no less prestigious. These men and women are knighted by Strike or the Seneschal and have proven themselves worthy to the Order. They charge under the banner of Strike & the Eventide and are skilled soldiers. They're familiar with the House weaponry but are not strangers to employing unorthodox fighting styles. They are recognized within the House of Nobility as Knights, proper to the title and responsibilities that come with it and are outfitted with House resources. They wear thick gamberson padded with chausses and hauberks. Their order outfit varies from feathered helmets to burgonets and bascinets with thick gorgets and aventails, all colored black and yellow. While they may lack the steeds most other Orders use heavily, they are not to be underestimated. Wielding siege crossbows with unmatched accuracy, they can easily take down foes at a distance that many longbowmen have difficulty trying to even hit and thanks to these heavy-duty crossbows their bolts are equally fashioned for punching power. Their range of melee weapons include the morningstar, flanges, infantry mace, the occasional long sword, and warhammers. While many of them do use shields, those wielding the great hammer abandon the use of the shield completely and some with the lighter weapons may not have one at all leaving these members considerably more vulnerable, but no less ferocious. Squire & Chaplain Brother 2/∞ : These are people who are interested in joining the Order and squiring underneath a Knight, usually to glean his or her wisdom and train underneath them while getting a feel of the Order. They're often clumsy and adjusting to the demands of their drapers and the high society that's expected of them from such a rarefied atmosphere but they're hard workers and loyal to the cause. Not all pass the trials and not all are knighted either, nevertheless this is where they start. While squired, they are responsible for any dishonor or misconduct they bring to the Order and depending on the severity of their offense, they can be discharged at any time. Though the vouch of a Knight may help them. Others are simply rogue soldiers and freelancers that have decided to ascend the ranks purely through their own merit. A rare few respect the Order and wish to represent it and fight for it, but do not want to own the responsibilities or obligations of a Knight and so they are deemed Chaplain brothers and sisters, working closely with the Order as standard infantry. These men wear a different outfit and are fond of polehammers and axes which they use to stop horses right in their tracks, eschewing heavier armor for a standard fit of chainmail and the lamellar. Ghilmen ∞/∞: These are people who wish to enlist or are given compulsory military service underneath House Strike and thus are given over to the Order. Criminals and thieves find themselves straightened out within this rank. Others found bearing this title are loyal mercenaries or temporary freelancers seeking work underneath the Order and or House, sometimes to earn favor from the Duke. Overall this is a motley rank full of people from all walks of life, aligned for different reasons and purposes. They are expected to follow the chain of command and respect the Knights. They are standard infantry in campaigns and out-sourced labor for tasks the Knights themselves do not want to do, or cannot find the time to do. The faces come and go. These people find themselves usually clearing monsters and lesser troubles of Duskwood and are subscribed to a loose fit of duties. They're paid well and are an attractive choice for people wanting coin or task. TBA - Footnote: the numbers for the forces follow strikes approved forces. the numbers on this posting are mostly to denote how many players are already in the ranks/interest gauge, etc

So come packing. If the threat spooks you, don't. ). These bosses will be the main event of the Violet Hold besides Fel Lord/Sael'orn who're being hashed out still!
