    Sweet Revenge

Thursday, at around midnight, explosions could be heard from Elwynn's vicinity, near Duskwood. Hundreds of people were witness to a fire spreading quickly through a fellow lord's county. We sent a scout as fast as we could to observe the happenings and report back. The man came back as frightened as ever, both his hands shaking heavily. He barely retold the event that took place there. It was attacked at around night time with heavy explosives. After some time passed and the villagers were busy putting out the fire, an army of more than one hundred hacked and slashed everything in their way. Most of the villagers and guards were captured, tied in front of the Holy Church. A man and a woman climbed to the rooftop, addressing the people in front of them. "Two years have passed since the smoke and ash lifted to the skies...Two years since my beloved father killed the traitors one by one. Over one hundred lives lost, all planned by one man. His name was Marcus Whilbern, my father, and he led the Liberty Army with pride and care. All he wanted was your well being and your safety! But you, you stupid animals, you butchered him in cold blood. You asked your assassins to do your bidding, your dirty work! No more...I swear on my father's grave that I will carry out his plan to the end, but before that, I will kill anyone who stands in my way, starting with you!" After no more than ten minutes, the captured people were brutally killed. The count's corpse has also been found, hanged in his own house, as well as his whole house and family members. Only a few survived and walked all the way to Stormwind to ask for help before returning to their ruined home. It's just like two years ago, but now, nearly two hundred lives were lost. It was all confirmed by the authorities and and it was declared they won't stand for such criminal acts. An investigation shall begin soon. The best assumption is the attackers are what remains of the Liberty Army defeated two years ago. OOC NOTE This is not a regular slash & hack and loot 'em event. This is more of a hunting style and the first parts of the event chain will barely have any enemies around. There had been put several papers across the kingdom where Stormwind is looking for help to solve and deal with the culprits. Payment is promised and whatever items are found along the way can be kept by the participants. This is a continuation of the former event chain hosted by Akua Shuzen. ( http://www.paragon-rp.com/forums/index.php/topic/6396-redemption-in-blood/?hl=%2Bredemption+%2Bblood) Time and Date: 2 of August Friday, 21:00 GMT+2 Number of participants per event: 6-10. First come, first served. Sweet Revenge

First Part: Completed The group investigated the county in search of clues and evidence. They found a few enemies disguised as citizen, blowing up a house in the process. A tunnel in the inn's basement has been found, and with the help of a certain man belonging to the Assassins' Guild, they figured out that the tunnel may lead to a hidden base. Second Part: Completed The tunnel the team had previously found was full of terrifying creatures, from heavily mutated geists to constructs built only for destruction. Quite sadly, the tunnel's entrance collapsed and the team was stuck in there, awaiting further orders. Third Part: Completed The enemies have all been killed, the group has successfully captured a high ranked individual to gather information from and the abandoned town is now, once again, Alliance Territory. Fourth Part: Failed The group failed in capturing or killing Cassandra Whilbern, but was successful in killing off two of her main puppets. Final Part: Ongoing The Blackmist have reached Stormwind's gates and the Liberty Army is now attacking. Stormwind must be defended at all costs!

Custom items are taking forever to load, for some reason. Anyway, it's nice that it displays WoD items as well since the original one doesn't.
  21. In Character Information: With the war effort interrupted in Ashenvale, the troops of the Horde are stationary at Splintertree Outpost, awaiting to put their next move into practice. An orcish legionnaire, going by the name of Gorefist, has just initiated a Call to Arms for all able-bodied members of the Horde to join him in Ashenvale. A company composed of 50 men just arrived at Splintertree along with him. Riders are spreading the word throughout Durotar and the Barrens. Orders are clear and the Horde needs its true warriors now, more than ever. There are posters throughout all Horde territories, including the capital cities - Undercity as well. Are you ready to serve the Horde or will you get crushed beneath its weight? Out of Character Information: Gossip: http://www.paragon-rp.com/forums/index.php/topic/6499-the-bloodbath-continues/ By joining these events, you must understand that your character is under high risk of potentially dying on the battlefield. The night elves are cunning and highly capable foes and shall not be underestimated. Men form the military across all the nations are more than welcome and even voluntaries are allowed to give it a try. Whilst the risk is high, the rewards and recompensations might come in handy - especially for military officers. Teamwork is highly expected and there is no room for racism between allies. Cooperating, pulling in strategies and being strong individuals are the keys to success in these events. If there are any forsaken willing to join, they must obey the Warchief's word; No raising of the dead or they are to be punished with execution. Alliance players and elf-loving-guys ( I'm looking at you, Silverthorn ) you'll have your moment of glory at the final part, but until then, I kindly ask all of you to not interfere. These events are strictly meant for the Horde, with the finale being an exception. Details: Time: 3rd of June, Wednesday 2:30PM Server Time. Dungeon Master: Xii/Akua Shuzen. Player Cap: 8. Part One: ( Completed ) The first group of Warsong Outriders was sent to clear off the spot where the lumber mill is supposed to be build. They never returned as they got butchered by the night elven sentinels. A second group of warriors was sent along with six windriders at their disposal, including Legionnaire Gorefist. The fight was long and tiring, but the group came in victorious. The dead had been burn on pyres. Legionnaire Gorefist gathered several spikes and impaled the heads of the fallen night elves upon them - Showing off a sign of what happens to those who stand in the Horde's way. Khannash the Kinslayer did a particularly good job at fighting off the enemy sentinels, but he got fatally wounded in battle. He was forced to retreat to Splintertree Post to mend his wounds before he dies out. The man fought bravely and with brain and he received a recommendation to join the Horde's Military along with 40 silver coins. Krahe Bearskin, the brave tauren, fought valiantly the night elven forces and got his tail cut off in the process. He received many wounds but failed to give up as he continued to fight. The man had been given 80 silver for his worthy aid in the Horde's - and the Warchief's - name. Fayun's aid came to a greater extent as his skills with the bow came in really handy for the group. He shot off several sentinel archers as he received a few greater wounds in battle. His raptor died in battle, protecting its master. A recommendation from Legionnaire Gorefist himself was delivered - asking for his promotion to First Sergeant, along with 20 silver. Umbal, even if he didn't fight like the best and most skillful warrior, managed to do the most honorable act a peon can do - Save the life of your ally. He sacrificed himself in order to save Fayun's life, something few would do. Beside that, he spotted several hiding sentinel archers and gave the group very good directions towards them. The least the military could do for him was to burn his body on a pyre and send him to his ancestors. Udruk Flameheart offered all the help he could to the group, including versatile spells and healing, in the last part of battle. He played a major role in spotting the hidden sentinels alongside Umbal. The man received a recommendation to join the Horde's Military along with 40 silver coins. Part Two: ( Completed ) The mission was a success and the night elven champion had been captured alive. Gorefist and his officers had started choking out information from her. Urdruk Flameheart had been rewarded with a higher standing in the Horde's military. Djezal Cogsteal was given one gold coin for his services. Harley was given one gold coin for her services. Janite Van Darkfield was given one gold coin for her services. Maru was rewarded with a higher standing in the Horde's military. Oto'sah Brighthorn has been rewarded with a recommendation to join the Horde's military. Part Three: ( Completed ) The battle over the outpost of the Sentinels came to a close - Costing the lives of a large number of the orcish forces brought upon the siege, as well as numerous of the Sentinel defenders, and the beings of the forests whom fought alongside with them. The outpost burns away as the Horde's finest destroy it to the ground - The burning statue of Elune a sign of the destructive power of the Horde, and its commitment to taking over the area of Ashenvale. However, while the victory was filled with glory, It was also shadowed by the numerous dead warriors of the Horde's finest. An aspiring pyremaster, whom had taken great part in the fighting at Ashenvale being one of them. The soldiers fought bravely and many said a fellow grunt inspired them to do so. A man belonging to the Kor'kron, seemingly old and battle-hardened. He proved to be an example of what a soldier should be, carrying the colors of the Blackrock and the Horde. A wolf rider, who's maybe too reckless and bloodthirsty, charged directly at the forces without any second thoughts. He battled the waves of soldiers and treants bravely and helped the forces as a whole conquer the base. A warlock, a goblin of huge heights, showed the prime example of what foul magic does to the mind and heart. Attacking his fellow comrades and using destructive force as a whole. A female, born to fight, born to slay. Her hammer was the end to many elven lives.
  22. Alright, added the final resume. Thank you all for joining and I hope you had fun. :)
