[Raid] Emerald Nightmare Americano Edition

Recommended Posts

24nfg42.jpg

The Emerald Dream was created by the titans as a blueprint for Azeroth itself - a verdant and perfect mirror that reflects the state of nature had it remained unspoiled by so-called civilization. For many years, the druids and keepers who are closest to nature have noticed signs of an unsettling presence stirring within the Dream. Spurred on by the Legion and Nightmare Lord Xavius, that creeping corruption has now burst forth, and will engulf all of Azeroth if it is not rooted out at its source.

This is the Boss Thread for the American run Emerald Nightmare. The following list will detail the boss/bosses, the DM, and the date/time.

While this event is open to all, you can not loot from a boss if your character has already looted that boss in the Euro run. This includes uniques.

I'll also be rolling out my new system for unique rolls and Seals of Broken Fate in this run. See below:

UNIQUE ROLLS: For the sake of balance and loot whores, I've created a loot roll system for uniques. These are items of higher than average power with a limitation on the amount of players that can get them. For each unique you earn, your next rolls in the raid will be dropped by -3. The first unique will drop you -3. The second will drop you an additional -3. So on and so forth. However, the more events you participate in, the higher you will roll as well. If you participate in one boss, your rolls increase by +1. If you attend five bosses, your subsequent rolls are +5. So on and so forth.

Example: Player X has participated in five events and not received a unique. Player Y has participated in six events and received a unique. Player X would get +5 for his participation. Player Y would get +3. While he got +6 from joining 6 events, he loses 3 for already earning a unique.

SEALS OF BROKEN FATE: A unique seal granted to the player if they decide that none of the loot on a boss suits them. These seals can be used to either retrieve an additional NON UNIQUE from a boss in the past that the player attended during the CURRENT raid. You can't receive a seal during Nighthold and use it for Emerald Nightmare loot.

However, you can save these seals for future bosses. If you receive a seal from the Emerald Nightmare, it can still be used in Trial of Valor, Nighthold, Tomb of Sargeras, etc... The seals work forward but not backwards outside of the raid it was earned in. To prevent abuse, these seals will be tracked by the raid it was earned in and uniquely marked by it.

To prevent abuse of these seals, the PLAYER is limited to a total of six seals over the expansion. Not the character. These seals can only be used on the character that acquired it, but if two of your characters each get three seals, the limit has been reached. In the same token, if one character gets six seals, the limit is also reached.

Nythendra has been slain. Below is the loot table that was available for participants.

Only one item may be claimed from the loot table.

Nythendra’s Heart - Quest Item (Exclusive to Corvus) - This heart would likely be useful as an ingredient for some specific alchemical recipes. Perhaps someone in Dalaran would have a use for this?

- Providing this heart to Alard Schmied will reward the player with an advanced Kirin Tor Alchemy Set. Only a limited number of these sets even exist! It provides the user with an easier experience while experimenting and creating. Less ingredients are required, as the precise tools prevent overusing or wasting material. When using this set, items will be of Masterwork Quality.

Pestilential Hide of Nythendra - Quest Item (Exclusive to Auschweld) - This hide is rotting and barely holding together. Only dark magics prevent this from falling into a pile of goo at your feet. Perhaps someone in Dalaran would have a use for this?

- Providing this hide to Kondal Huntsworn will reward the player with an advanced Kirin Tor Leatherworking Set. Only a limited number of these tools even exist! It provides the user with an easier experience while shaping and working leather. Less ingredients are required, as the precise tools prevent overusing or wasting material. When using this set, items will be of Masterwork Quality.

Despoiled Dragonscales - Shadow Relic - The miscolored scales appear to be coated on one side with a sticky black substance, allowing them to be attached to your weapon where you see fit.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time. Attaching this relic to your weapon will give it passive shadow damage. Once per day, the user can strike/cast with a decaying attack similar to the effects of death and decay in a single strike form.

Preserved Worldseed - Holy Relic - While the Worldseed can’t be awakened or grown, the sprouts of the seed willingly cling to ones weapon, giving it a gentle glow of gold and green where it touches.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time. Attaching this relic to your weapon will give it passive holy damage. Once per week, the untapped power of the world seed may infuse your weapon with the ability to heal a critical wound upon an ally by surging a healing bolt of green and gold from your weapon.

Shaladrassil’s Blossom - Life Relic - A beautiful flower from Shaladrassil before it fell to corruption. It shimmer with a gentle blue-white energy. It can be wrapped around one’s weapon.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time. Attaching this relic to your weapon will give it passive nature damage. Once every three days the power of the blossom allows the weapon to call forth a Guardian of Shaladrassil to help them in their endeavors. (Display ID 57567 at scale .4)

Unwaking Slumber - Frost Relic - This strange black locket is cold as ice. Inside, there’s an image of a woman in a deep slumber. Every so often when opened, a dark shadow can be seen watching over the sleeping figure in the picture. It can be attached to ones weapon.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time. Attaching this relic provides passive frost damage. Once per week, a target may be placed in a frozen slumber. This ability is similar to ice block, but lasts 3 turns and puts the victim to sleep. While asleep, the victim heals at an abnormal rate comparable to a moderate heal over time spell from a healer.

Greyed Dragonscale Coif - Mail - This coif appears to be made from draconic scales that have dulled, losing their original shimmer and saturation. They still appear to be quite durable.

-The hood, when raised, protects the user from diseases and airborne poisons that would normally harm them, providing a safe space for them to breathe. This does help resist powerful poisons such as the forsaken plague and blight.

Ancient Dreamwoven Mantle - Cloth - This beautiful set of elven shoulder pieces holds a pair of scrolls that seem to be filled with ancient druidic knowledge. They appear to have resisted the corruption of the nightmare, glowing with a shimmering verdant energy.

-While wearing these shoulders, healing spells are enhanced with the blessings of the dream, providing a minor increase in their restorative properties. Once per day, the scrolls may be activated to release a mass rejuvenation across your allies in a 20 yard radius for mild healing.

Insect-Etched Chestplate - Plate - This ancient plate chest, and accompanying scaled skirt, appear to be made from ancient dragon bone. Insects have burrowed through the bone to form beautiful, intricate designs across the armor.

-This chestpiece provides the user with amplified healing from healing spells, increasing the boons cast upon them slightly. Once per week, the armor is capable of taking the next healing spell that overflows past their max health and changing it into a druidic shield to protect them.

Wristclamps of Mad Dreams - Plate - These metal wristlets seem to harness dark energy. Those that wear them claim they tend to have nightmares more often while sleeping, and make sure to stay awake while wearing the wristlets.

-While wearing these, the user’s strikes have a 10% chance (roll 20, requires a 19 or 20) of causing the injured party day nightmares, stunning them with fear for one turn.

Creeping String of Larva - Mail - This chain belt appears to have a cluster of larval eggs in the center of its buckle, pulsating with a sickly glow.

-The belt’s larval cluster can be plucked from, allowing the user to hurl a larval egg onto the battlefield once per day. A maggot the size of a dog with rapidly grow and attack the nearest enemy. These maggots die after one hour.

Lifeless Buckled Girdle - Leather - This girdle was once swirling with life energy at its buckle. Now, it seems dead, empty.

-The buckle still yearns for the life it once held, and allows the user to fill it with the energy of a fallen enemy when slain. This energy will remain until used. The energy within the buckle may be called upon to heal the user from wounds, but the buckle must then be replenished. The power of the healing depends on the strength of the fallen enemy.

Stained Maggot Squishers - Leather - These malefic boots appear to have once been used by a demon hunter. These were likely used by non-winged demon hunters that faced abnormally large demonic aberrations. Now their purpose is to serve a new master. Each step, though not wet, sounds as though the wearer is walking through a pile of maggots. Squish. Squish.

-These boots allow the user to drop from abnormal heights once per three days, absorbing the fall without harming the user. This only works if the user lands on his feet.

Grubby Silver Ring - Ring - This unassuming silver ring appears to be perpetually unclean, no matter how many times you wash it. It’s slimy, and feels gross while wearing it.

-This unassuming silver ring has been infused with Nythendra’s diseased magic, allowing the user the ability to cast forth a temporary disease upon an enemy to weaken them for one minute (ten rounds) once per two days.

Ravaged Seed Pod - Trinket - This seed pod seems heavily rotted and damaged, but radiates a mysterious magical aura, pulling at the energy in the very air around it.

-Once per week, the Seed Pod can be cast upon the ground. It will open and spread roots out around itself in a ten yard radius. A long tendril will unravel and latch on to the user. Enemies in the circle of roots will be drained of their health over time, and this health will be given to the user so long as they remain within the circle. The effects last 3 rounds.

Swarming Plaguehive - Trinket - This grotesque infected beehive once made some of the purest honey in the Emerald Dream. Now it only leaks ichor and sad memories.

-When you strike an enemy or cast a spell, you have a 10% (Roll 20, 19 or 20 activate it) chance for a swarm of plagued bees to expel from the hive, harassing the nearest enemy with poisonous stings and scratches.

Seal of Broken Fate (Nightmare) (Taken by Nilstrasza, Faelon, Adrasteia, Bertren, Cephirian, Ambreth) - Mysterious Seal - This mysterious seal appears to be made from dragon bone and seems to have the eye of N'zoth on it. Is it staring at you...?

-These seals can be used to take additional loot from a future boss. They may be used on any future raid loot tables as well.

Alright, reposting. Due to me being a goof I removed my earlier post out of a misunderstanding.

Thrindil will still loot to get the Wristclamps of Mad Dreams - Plate, both for safekeeping and rare use.

Drez also takes this thingy:

Reverberating Femur - Storm Relic - This piece of femur bone thrums with the power of thunder. When embedded in a weapon, the entire weapon takes on the same vibrating hum.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time. Attaching this relic to your weapon will give it passive vibration/shockwave damage. Once per two days your weapon can be slammed into the ground (or shoot the ground) to cause a shockwave like a thunder stomp.

Ursoc has been slain. Below is the loot table that was available for participants.

Only one item may be claimed from the loot table.

Mark of the Glade Guardian - Fist Weapon (Exclusive to Narios) - These claw weapons have been imbued with a mark personally bestowed by Ursol to wild bears to empower them as defenders of the wilds during times of need. For those lucky enough to wield these claws, they will find that same power theirs.

    - Alongside empowering the Bear Form of the wielder of these claws, the Mark provides a passive strength boost by simply having the claws on your person. This empowered bear form has denser fur, sharper claws, and stronger abilities to a moderate degree.

Last Breath of the Forest - Spear (Exclusive to Adrasteia) - Ursoc sacrificed his life for the wilds twice, but he leaves behind a legacy for other noble defenders to uphold in his absence. This spear represents part of that legacy.

-While equipped with this spear, a spiritual bear companion will fight to the death beside you. This bear damages with physical and spirit damage when it attacks and can be ridden. If the bear is killed, it will reform over the course of a week. The spear naturally increases your strength and speed by a moderate amount in combat.

Bloodied Bear Fang - Blood Relic - No matter how many times it’s cleaned, this bear fang appears to remain perpetually bloody. It can be tied to a weapon with a slick piece of sinew attached to the fang.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time. Attaching this relic to your weapon will give it passive nature damage. Once per day you can unleash a powerful strike through the rage of this fang.

Tuft of Ironfur - Iron Relic - This tuft of Ursoc’s fur is as hard as iron, but willingly wraps around your weapon like a fur braid when it is touched to the object.

-This Relic can be attached to a standard weapon. Only one Relic may be attached to a weapon at a time.Attaching this relic to your weapon will give it heavier striking power. The user of this weapon can activate it once per three days to be covered in fur as hard as iron for three rounds. No matter your race or gender you are covered in fur.

Cursed Beartooth Necklace - Necklace - A necklace made from a leather string that runs through a series of bear teeth that all appear to be blackened. It radiates the dark energy of the nightmare.

-The fury of Ursoc is infused into the teeth of this necklace. While wearing this necklace, strikes have a 10% chance (roll 20, 19 or 20 succeeds) to call forth a nightmare bear to assist the user for one minute.

Matted Fur Pauldrons - Mail - These pauldrons are matted with blood from Ursoc, hardening the ironfur on the ends into sharp points.

-Once per three days, the user may activate the pauldrons, causing dark blood spikes to protrude from their body for three rounds. These spikes will injures enemies attacking them as well as enemies they attack.

Scarred Ragefang Chestpiece - Leather - This chestpiece is made from thick bear hide and crimson fur weaved into braids around the armor. It’s unnaturally warm, as if the hide is fresh.

-The power of rage can infuse the user once a day, allowing them to perform a powerful melee strike that causes increased damage and bleeding.

Ragged Fur Wristwraps - Cloth - These wraps appear to be made from woven bear fur. They’re stiff, but light.

-The user of these wraps may call upon their power once a day to release a loud bear-like roar. This roar will disorient opponents around them in a 5 yard radius for one round.

Primal Gauntlets of Rage - Plate - These gauntlets appear to be made from ancient dragon bone and iron fur. They radiate the rage of the wilds, and wearing them makes the user feel empowered by nature itself.

-Melee strikes have a 10% chance (roll 20, 19 or 20 succeeds) to send the user into a bloodrage for one turn, doubling their attack speed and slightly increasing their striking power.

Splotched Bloodfur Leggings - Leather - These leggings appear to be stained with dark red blood from vicious battle.

-These leggings allow the user the ability to increase their speed in a dash once per day for six seconds, sprinting at incredible speed.

Crimson Wool-Lined Sabatons - Cloth - These sabatons are made with a beautiful crimson wool that seems to be stained from blood.

-The power of these sabatons surges through the wearer. Once per day they may leap a long/high distance with the magic of these sabatons.

Scored Ironclaw Sabatons - Mail - These iron accented sabatons have claws at the end of them that look quite sharp.

-The user may kick with these sabatons for a piercing attack. When they kick, there is a 50% chance (roll 20, 11-20 succeed) that the claws will extend further for a heavier piercing strike.

Trampling Warboots - Plate - These warboots appear to be made from thick bear hide and dragon bone. Energy flares in the horn-like additions on its sides.

-These warboots may be used to perform a supernatural charge once per day, slamming into an enemy with extreme force and speed.

Bloodthirsty Instinct - Trinket - The fight against Ursoc has changed you. Your instincts have become more primal. Battle feels more like something in your blood. Something you desire.

-The rage of battle sets you into a trance-like state with heightened senses once per day for two rounds. Your body reacts with better instinct, and you find your strikes hitting harder than normal. After battle, you’ll find the lack of adrenaline quite fatiguing.

Heightened Senses - Trinket - The fight against Ursoc has changed you. Your senses grow sharper. You can smell more distinctly. Hear clearer. Your vision is sharper, and things feel and taste different.

-Your heightened senses increase your skills naturally and provide you with an enhanced focus during battle. This ability can be turned against you through bright light, loud noises, and volatile smells.

Unbridled Fury - Trinket - The fight against Ursoc has changed you. A deep rage within your body has unlocked. It yearns for the chance to be unleashed.

-When you take a critical strike in combat, your body may unleash its fury once every four days to protect you. Your skin toughens up to a rough leather and your attacks become much more forceful and powerful for four turns. Your body will feel drained after the adrenaline rush ends, post battle.

Ursoc’s Rending Paw - Trinket - Unfortunately, the Circle did NOT allow you the chance to slice a demigod’s paw off. This does seem to be a fragment of Ursoc’s claw that happens to be the shape of a bear paw. How cute.

    - While this item is with you, your strikes have a chance to unleash Ursoc’s fury. There is a 10% chance (roll 20, 19 or 20 succeeds) for your attacks to cause slashing damage from a spiritual claw strike, initiating bleeding as well.

Seal of Broken Fate (Nightmare) (Taken by ???) - Mysterious Seal - This mysterious seal appears to be made from dragon bone and seems to have the eye of N'zoth on it. Is it staring at you...?

-These seals can be used to take additional loot from a future boss. They may be used on any future raid loot tables as well.
