A small section in evening Local Report reads as follows:

MORE TROUBLE FROM DUSKWOOD?

Speculations from the outside, as travel is restricted!

[=========================================================================================================]

Once more does Duskwood bring terrible news; detachments of Ebon Blade and Argent Crusade knights have been stationed by each entryway into Duskwood, barring entry to all civilians! Their reasoning claims the rising tide of necromancers in the area, and for public safety reasons, must additionally deny all exports out of Duskwood for fear of tampered supply- but certainly a few necromancers wouldn't require the full attention of both orders?

When questioned about his decisions, the Deputy Mayor Dreuger cited the safety of his township and peoples were paramount, and without aid from the Crown, was forced to accept the aid of one Knight-Captain Shadeheart, whom already made his presence known in Westfall just a few short weeks ago. What exactly is happening in that province remains to be discovered, but with no word from the Crown itself just yet, it is advised to avoid Duskwood at all costs.

More news as the case develops.

Champion Elrendar Serrar Ronae, by permission of the Argent Crusade, is the acting Commandant of forces there. The woman lead her troops against Morbent Fel's initial attack of Darkshire. During the lock-down, she remains to ensure that each entry way is securely guarded whilst working alongside the Ebon Blade.

An impassioned plea and a show of troubling evidence from Senior Magus Aeryl'rin Del'Remir has led the Magus Senate of Dalaran to tentatively support relief efforts in Darkshire. The Kirin Tor recognize the Crown's authority in all matters, and has specified that the Senior Magus act as a liaison between all non-Alliance Magi to the Argent Crusade / Ebon Blade operation.

The Kirin Tor consider the Lich Morbent Fel to be an extremely dangerous threat to all life, and with confirmation that Dark Riders are in league with the Lich lead the Senate to act quickly to prevent a possible continent-wide invasion of Undead. Outside the higher echelons of the Senate, however, it is unknown why these Dark Riders are of so much interest. Some say that the Violet Eye have been dispatched. A token force represented by the Senior Magus has arrived in Darkshire to begin researching into ending the Lich's reign of terror.

However, with the proclamation of Martial Law and the direct authority taken by the Alliance, and without official invitation from the Crown, in the name of maintaining good relations with all representatives within the Senate, the withdrawal order was given for all Magi in the Duskwood region. Senior Magus Aeryl'rin has not ceased appealing the decision, however, the Council is not hearing it.

Ever Vigilant

Upon returning to the Army after the death of his son, Sergeant Major James Griffith II was, once again, station in Duskwood. With the help of Argent Crusader Rolan Davies and his men, built a small outpost at Beggar's Haunt and reinforced its defenses.

While initially the Crown sole representation in the province during this trying time, with the arrival of Commander Bradley, Griffith has fallen under his direct command.

The Ashemane pack, long standing allies to Darkshire, has also answered the call, providing intel to the gathered forces. Kagat'ar himself is called away, leaving his Worgen under Griffith's command.

In a bid to restore order in the township of Darkshire and its surrounding regions, Commander Alderic Bradley of the 4th 'Nethergarde' Regiment

has marched his seasoned Falcon Company into the township as of recent, establishing a military occupation in the town alongside the Argent Crusaders

and Knights of the Ebon Blade already present and posted in the local vicinity. With reluctant approval from the High Command of the Stormwind Army,

Commander Bradley will be facilitating the work of those already present by ensuring the town's safety as well as the roads where possible.

When questioned whether or not he will be assuming the post of military governor, the Commander stated that currently the operations in Darkshire are

not led mainly by the Stormwind Army and that the operational success of the effort will rely on shared command between the organizations present.

Furthermore, Commander Bradley has reinforced the thesis that an official from Stormwind fetching command of the township and vicinity would turn

the situation highly fragile and therefore dangerous to the operations being conducted due to the negligence suffered by the province as a whole for years

now. In consideration of that, the seasoned veteran has reassured that the town's elected leadership will be enough to hold its own while the military and

militant forces do the job of returning peace to the region.

More news as the case develops.
